Tomorrow Is
Festival Of Popular Delusions Day.
There has to be some way we can have fun with that. Any takers?
(It does make me wonder if there's ever a Festival of *Unpopular* Delusions Day though.)

You can do what most people try to do everyday... Can try to be colorblind for a day?
I like your blog's title, I felt like I had to say something.
Oooo, so much potential for that day! It coincides with Matts birthday - perhaps for him it could be "prentend i'm not a year older day"
And oo, i could go back and pretend its still not after the end of the middle ages day?
Whadda ya mean pretend? As far as I'm concerned the middle ages will never end.
:-)
we sure are living in "black ADDER" times.
Keep up the spunky humor!
"popular delusions" I think it depends what political group you're in..... I mean it's a chance for some of our politicians to celebrate their ridiculous stance that global warming isn't real. (For more on this listen to Jill Sobule's "Manhatten in January")
does that mean that you have to be of a certain political group to believe in global warming? or to even deny global warning?
"global warming" is a polite way of implying environmental destruction, environmental exploitation and environmental politics...
What is the relationship between institutionalization of "environmentalism" as a field of study, within first world countries, in the 70s and the term "global warming"?
