Alum is a word. It's a double sulphate of aluminum and potassium. It's not somebody who graduated from your university.
Alumnus - Male graduate.
Alumni - Plural male.
Alumna - Female graduate.
Alumnae - Plural female.

Office is not a verb.

Fast is not a noun. It can be an adjective or a verb, but not a noun.

Expresso is not a word.

The Koala is not a bear.

Volumptuous is not a word.

Brung is not a word.

Signage is not a word.

You can't plead innocent in the U.S. no matter how hard you try. Innocent is NOT the same as 'Not Guilty'.
