Today is International Panic Day.
That covers it, no?
Also, tomorrow is World Sauntering Day. If you can't saunter, you only have hours to learn.
:-)
After that, it's Ice Cream Soda Day, because all that sauntering is hard work and we need a reward. (Yeah, that's it.)

Monday is always panic day for me! I hate it. I'm on the "late shift" I don't mind working till 6pm, that's easy (even if it often turns out to be later). I mind that the person on the late shift gets all the email and phone enquiries and has to do all the work for any doctor's who are away that day (as some doctor's always have monday off it becomes quite tricky). So it always turns out to be a rushed horrible day - and I panic.
Happy holiday to you.

earthkissed, that is too bad that you panic.
Personally, I try to keep my energy on what matters. There is my research, there is my teaching and there is my activist life. This is a daily routine for me but in the summer I do not teach.
Given what you say on this particular comment only, maybe you should try to get additional assistance. But, you should try to multi-task. What kind of doctor do you work for? May I ask?
oh thank goodness for wednesday, because i, for one, could go for a root beer float.
