Stormy Weather
Rain, lightning, and wind. More is on the way so I thought I'd dash something here in case the power goes off (or worse).
We do need the rain though.
Just not the lightning, wind, and possible hail. Or tornadoes. Those can be really messy.
But at least it's cooled off some.

If the sky is being clear, then life will go on.
Lightning is the messiest,so annoyingly it falls on days when one is inclined to adhere to the human race by phoneline alone,when one has so much to blog,yet so little time,the race against bolt-to-modem is a thing I know.

I enjoy your sense of humor (My blog is my private messy writing/thinking space about facts and random notes happening when I work. I seriously did not image it was going to attract unwanted attention. As usual I will make sure to work beyond my computer (:V) ).

I love thunderstorms with the rain beating down and the occasional flash of lightning and the roar of thunder in the distance. Especially when I'm cooped up at home with just my computer and the stacks of paper filled with proteins and enzymes that I need to memorize...
It makes me feel like I'm in a peanuts comic strip, and I'm writing those infamous words: It was a dark and stormy night.
I love Chicago. And I love that I'm experiencing the EXACT same weather you are. We'll both know what happened to our power if we stop blogging tonight. :)
