Ambiguous Holiday

Tomorrow is National Battery Day.
I'm hoping it's the electric kind, rather than the hitting kind.

Relax, the next day is National Chocolate Mint Day.

I think they need "real" national days...
...like "National Good TV Day", where the networks put on the two good programs they have each year,
or
"National Truth In Politics Day", when politicians are required to tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing buit the truth.

What about "World Corporate Truth Day", when corporations tell us the truth about how their products are made, what's in them, and what they actually do to our health,
or
"National Bureaucrat Day", when teh incompetent faceless bureaucrats that run most western democracies truthfully answer questions about what they were thinking when they made whatever decision it was they made.

The list is just endless... we'd need decased to get through them all.

Chester, you'd have a rough time in this country. You want an awful lot of truth from people who don't even know what's true themselves. They've gotten so used to spinning things, they believe their own garbage. Baseball is supposed to be the national pastime, but I think it's actually self-delusion.
