Land of The Dead
So I just got back from the store. I had a craving for something crunchy. There were three of us in there walking at a regular person pace. Everybody else was going no faster than I could crawl. Bare kneed on concrete. With shopping carts. And not really paying attention to others around them or where they were going. It felt like Friday night in a Zombie movie except they weren't trying to eat anybody's brains. Maybe movies and video games *can* creep into real life as my hands had a strange itch to load smooth, plastic shells into a shotgun.

Unfortunately, they were not. But it soooo should have been playing from the overhead speakers! Not that they would have noticed. :-)
Ok, so, i had a debate with matt as to whether or not zombies eat brains.
Now, the only concrete example i could come up with, was the Jonathan Coulton song. Matt could come up with several examples of zombies that DIDNT eat brains.
I'm afraid that my lack of horror movie watching really hampered me in this argument, but since someone else brought this up.....
Sure, matt just wanted to say we shouldn't tar all zombies with the same brush, but i came out of that discussion feeling like there were many examples i SHOULD have had, that i just didn't...
And i can't rmember my login on the lib computer for some reason....

Okay, not all movie zombies eat brains. But it is kind of tradition as most of the early ones did. I think movies that do something different just do it to be, well, different.
