Labor Day
Yes, it's Labor Day. It started in 1882 and nobody can seem to agree on who's idea it was. Over time it's become less about Labor and more about marking the end of summer.
So, yeah, it's one of those artificial holidays where banks and the government are closed and everything else is a crap shoot. Yippie.

Did u get a chance to read my blog on the number of public holidays in India (Independence Day..)??? You'd be dying to work here .. if you can put up with the rest of our nuttiness !
