The Congress doesn't want it.
The people don't want it.
Yet we're still sending a bunch more troops into Iraq.
Interestingly, the Brits are about to pull a bunch of their troops out. So it's not really much of a 'surge' is it.
Oh, well, I guess we'll see some sort of progress in two years (I hope).

No sir, this is not much of a surge at all. In fact, the BBC has a cool graph that shows troop levels month by month, and overall, this is NOT an increase. So really, this first major "plan shift" that Bush has instituted is really nothing more than what they were doing before. But tie the idea in with lots of press, a news conference, a internationally televised speech, and hell, it seems like we've got a novel idea on our hands.
I stopped beleving in politicians a long time ago. Hell they'll sell anything even their soul to get what they want, what ever that is. I take the soul comment back that's what they gave up when they got into the "field of politics"
Gives me grays when I watch TV and figgure out the same stuff as MR. Burns shit this sucks! ok gonna have some chocolate
