Bar Girls

When the bars close down, please go home. By yourself, with someone, I don't care, but don't stand around in the streets making traffic watch out for you and possibly causing an accident or injuries.
And when I say home, I don't mean go to the few stores that are still open. Your natural habitat (the bar) is dark and smoggy. No one there can see that you've done things with your make up that might be appropriate on Halloween. And no one there can tell that you've *bathed* in perfume that's so strong the rest of can smell the assaulting waves six or seven feet away.

I understand that you may not have much repsect for yourselves, but if you keep at it nobody else will either.

(end rant)

Compassion people! They're just trying to find happiness and get by like we all are. The way they choose to live their lives is punishment and judgement enough. Believe me, I know. Having come out the other side of a drug addiction my towns judgement on me.

They had no idea who I was or why I was choosing that way of life. When I see someone in that state now I think, "If not for the support of good people, there goes I"

A good way to channel that dislike of how people abuse themselves is to get involved in something that helps them I reckon... :)

Ok I do see Jades point, and I came off judgemental when all in all people amke mistakes and we all cope with things in a different way.I have to admitt I was ashamed of myself when I read what Jade wrote.

Yeah, I was mostly venting. I don't think these people have a substance abuse issue, or I'd give them some slack. I think they're spoiled kids who don't have much consideration for others. I don't dislike them as people, I don't know them well enough, but I do have some issues with they're behavior when it affects the lives/rights/freedoms of others. Standing around in traffic isn't cool. And I didn't do anything mean to them, I just ranted about it here.

Sure, I know what you're saying, I guess all I mean is that it's easy to decide things about people from a few minutes of watching them. And alcohol is a substance of abuse too. Theres something going on if these girls have so little care for themselves that they go out and get wasted all the time and then walk on roads and go home with anyone...end Jades rant!
