Happy Turkey Day

It's an official holiday here in the U.S. called Thanksgiving. It's a day when we're supposed to stop and reflect on all the things we're thankful for. Typically, we celebrate this day by bickering with relatives, over-eating, and falling asleep in front of the TV.

I'm thankful that I'm not doing any of those things today. :-)

Hehehe i guess I luck out with not having any family here so I get to spend it having some awesome food and wine with friends and "maybe" we'll watch the game too:P
Benefits I have not really thought about till now:)

Despite never having lived in the US, my dad always used the excuse of thanksgiving to have something extra nice for dinner while we were growing up. He probably still does so now, but doesn't invite the rest of us over for it :)
So we always psuedocelebrated it, which i always found very odd...
