Here You Go

The lights are LEDs, so that helps keep the power usage lower.
Yes, it's a real house and people live in it.
The music gets broadcast short range so people can listen on the car radio.

This is what happens when techno-nerd-geeks get their teeth into a holiday. :-)

Hope you're all having a good one.

LFMO

I should probably stay out of stores this time of year. People are doing last minute shoping for the holidays and they amble, stroll ramble, meander, and plod. Sometimes they make the aisle unusable, even to themselves. I don't do any of those things unless I'm with a woman, and as you might surmise that's a fairly rare thing.

Should I stay away because I'm unable to tolerate the cattle like behavior? Nah. I can handle worst than that (you should see the roads). I should stay away because I know what I want, where it is, and where I'm going. This means, in comparison to most other people, I'm a Large Fast Moving Object and it freaks them out. Imagine going outside to find a batleship sailing down your street. Whoa! What's that doing there?

They're already stressed out enough from the season, I feel kind of badly about adding to it. And for anyone who's about to suggest that I slow down and plod with the rest of the lost souls - can't do it. That *would* test my patience more than I'd care to.

And no, I won't consider wearing a bell.

Tomorrow Is

Games Day.

Yeah, like we need a special day for that. Everyday is games day. :-)

I'm looking forward to the 21st, not because it's Look At The Bright Side Day, but because it's Hamburger Day!

Mmmmmmmm, tasty.

Not This Time

Nope, no ice this weekend. Nah, now they're calling for 4 inches of snow and some wind (drifting) on Saturday.

Why can't it do this crap on a Thursday or something?

Oh, if you're bored, go HERE for a laugh or two.

Have a good weekend!

Wet Ice

Turns out it just rained most of the day. So it was wet on top of the old ice, and that was loads of fun, but at least it didn't get any deeper/thicker. Maybe some more tonight, -maybe-.

North of here, I gather they got pummeled. I feel for those folks - I'm shoveling with you in my mind.

For those of you who've never lived with snow, it does look cool, but somebody has to move it all out of the way so sidewlks and roads can be used. It's a prime time for heart attacks and the like.

And Again...

It's too dark out right now, but maybe I'll take a picture tomorrow. Here comes *more* flipping ice. Maybe up to an inch. Maybe the power lines will snap with the weight.

Frikkin' yippie.

Two In A Row

Would you look at that, I guess it's going to be ice every weekend.

I suppose that's partly why we invented central heating and indoor plumbing. :-)

I........WANT ONE!

The shredder that is.

EE&V

Eyes
The nothingness of distraction that even darkness cannot rival.

Ears
A vaccuum except for the voice on the phone.

Voice
"What should I do?"

"You have to tell them. If your positions were reversed, would you want to be told?"

Tomorrow Is

Wear Brown Shoes Day.
I don't think I'm going to manage that. Sorry.

Okay, I apologize in advance for this, but the 8th is Take It In The Ear Day. Maybe I have an ill mind, but this sounds kind of......wrong.

Then the 10th is Festival For The Souls Of Dead Whales. That doesn't sound all that festive to me, kind of sad really.
